Do you offer pre-service Consultations?
Before your dogs first walk we do advise you book a free consultation to ensure your pet gets the most out of their time with us. It also gives us chance to get to know each other and fully understand your requirements.
How Do you access my property?
Generally the easiest way is for you to provide us with a key. We would never advise you hide a key outside your property. All keys are covered under our insurance policy should they go missing and need to be replaced or, if deemed necessary, locks changed.
Will my dog be safe?
Pawfect Pets Sherborne are confident and experienced with dogs and are selected for their responsible nature and the ability to think on their feet, be situationally aware and to stay calm in stressful situations. It doesn’t always come down to breed and size but we make sure all dogs are comfortable and stress free. If they show signs of stress leaving the house, in transportation or on a walk we’ll get them home and safe or opt for a garden visit if possible, at the very least and keep you informed. We never push our dogs to do anything they’re not happy with so if they are nervous at all we take it really slow and are considerate of their boundaries, sometimes leaving them and trying again later.
Are you Insured?
We are fully insured which also includes employee liability to cover all our dog walkers and pet sitters. This includes care in your own home and out on our walks. We would advise all owners to have their own pet insurance and although we’ll carry out work to the best of our ability and skillset, we can’t take responsibility for any accidents while in our care.
How do I Pay?
Dependent on the services requested and the frequency, we’ll invoice you electronically at the end of the month. For one off’s, or not so frequent services, we will invoice at the end of the visit/walk. We ask that all invoices are settled within 3 days by bank transfer (bank details will be supplied on the invoice). If you’d like to discuss alternative payment methods please get in touch.
